QUOTABLES FROM COACH ZELENOCK
On team performance in first match
"I never know what to expect from them. It is always a shock to see what they are going to do. We were just excited to play somebody else and see what we have. We think we are a pretty good team, but we never really know until we actually play somebody in a different jersey. We think we are a pretty good defensive team, and playing a really big, physical team like that, gave us a chance to see what we are actually good at."
On play of setter Amie Greene
"Amie played pretty much as expected. She takes a lot of risks. She rolls with the punches. She did a really good job of running the offense, seeing which hitters were doing it for her today. Today, the pins did a really good job so she kept feeding them late in the game. That is kind of what she is all about, exploring and seeing what is working and then rolling with that."
On victory over the College of Charleston
"I think it is huge for morale, not only for our team, but for the school. It is a 100-year old rivalry between these two schools, so when one of our teams can win, especially one of our female teams, I think it is a big deal for everyone."
