LEXINGTON, Va. – The Citadel men's and women's cross teams will compete in the 2021 Southern Conference Cross Country Championships on Oct. 30 at the Lexington Golf and Country Club in Lexington, Virginia.
The women's 5K race will get underway at 10 a.m., with the men's 8K race getting started at 10:45 a.m.
Heidi Fortin leads the women's team into the championships. Her time of 18:23.00 at the Queen City Invite ranks among the Top 20 times heading into the event.
Sam Sharnas leads the men's team in conference championship. His time of 24:23.00 at the Queen City Invite ranks as the eighth fastest time in the conference this season.
