FINAL RESULTS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Citadel men's and women's cross country teams ran at the Royals Cross Country Challenge Friday evening at McAlpine Park. It was the second-straight event the Bulldogs have competed in the Queen City.

Women's Race

Heidi Fortin again paced the Bulldogs with a time of 18:54.9.
Rebecca McCorkendale was the second finisher for the Bulldogs, finishing in a time of 19:29.3
Amber Opp finished with a time of 20:28.4.
Freshman Kennedy DeLancy crossed the finish line with a time of 23:27.0
Claire Thomas shaved about 45 seconds off her time from the same course two weeks ago, finishing in a time of 25:16.4

Men's Race

The Bulldogs finished 18^th out of 33 teams racing.
Sam Sharnas lead the Bulldog contingent, finishing 32^nd with a time of 24:29.6.
The time was just six seconds off his time he ran at the same course two weeks ago.
Andrew Smith was the second Bulldog to finish, posting a time of 25:42.1.
Alex Wulfhorst posted a time of 26:16.7. The time was just one second off from his time two weeks ago.
Robert Perrecone posted a time of 26:54.1.
Devon Heisler was the fifth Bulldog to cross the finish line, running a time of 27:22.4.
Aidan Richter and Eric Dailey ran their first races of the season.
