CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel wrestling team opens the 2021-22 season Wednesday night inside McAlister Field House as the Bulldogs welcome Queens University. The match is set for 7 p.m.

WAC is Back
The Citadel returns SoCon champion Michael McAleavey at heavyweight. The graduate student went undefeated in duals a season ago.
 
Outdoor Wrestling
The Bulldogs will take their match outdoors on Nov. 13 as they will take on Presbyterian on the turf at John McKissick Stadium in Summerville. The match will start at 2 p.m.
 
Scouting Queens
Queens opened the season with a pair of matches in Chapel Hill, North Carolina over the weekend. The Royals dropped both matches to Life University and North Carolina. The lone victory on the day from All-American Noah Curreri (174) against Life.

The Bulldogs return to McAlister Fieldhouse on Nov. 6 as they host The Citadel Open. Doors open at 8 a.m. with wrestling set to begin at 9 a.m. Tickets for the event are $10 for adults and $5 for students (5-18 or with college ID).
