- While normally contested as a single point, each doubles match counted as an individual point against the Monarchs. The Citadel jumped out to an early 2-1 lead after claiming wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots, with Andrew Darby and Phillip Quinn blanking their opponents 8-0 at the bottom spot.
- The Citadel swept all six singles matches, with no Methodist player winning more than six games.
- Hayden Shoemake, Josiah Schainblatt, Quinn and Sebastian Kamieniecki all notched double bagels from No. 3 to No. 6, shutting out their opponents.

- After allowing Methodist to claim one of the three doubles match in the first match of the day, The Citadel responded well, shutting out the Monarchs and winning all three contests. For the second straight match, Darby and Quinn posted a perfect 8-0 victory at the No. 3 slot, and Shoemake and Graham bounced back with an 8-3 win at No. 2.
- Just as they did in the opening match of the day, the Bulldogs swept past the Monarchs in singles action with wins at all six positions.
