MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Citadel got multi-hit games from different players in a 10-3 setback to the College of Charleston Tuesday evening at Patriots Point.

How it Happened
- The Cougars got on the board in the first inning on a RBI single from Tanner Steffy and run-scoring double from Landon Choboy.
- The Bulldogs got a run back in the second inning after Wesley Lane drew a walk and advanced to second on a Tilo Skole single. Adam Colon followed with a RBI single to left center.
- CofC took advantage of a Bulldog error and not being able to turn a double play to push across four runs in the second inning. They added another in the third on a solo homer from Tanner McCallister.
- The Citadel got a run back in the fifth as Skole beat out a bunt single and went to third on Colon's base hit. Skole scored when the attempt to pick him off at third went into left field.
- The Bulldog pitching staff kept the Cougars off the board in the middle innings before a two-out rally in the seventh plated three runs.
- The Citadel got a leadoff double from Jeffery Brown to start the eighth inning. Two batters later, Crosby Jones delivered a RBI single through the left side.

- Tilo Skole went 2-for-3 with a run scored out of the eight hole, while Adam Colon went 2-for-3 with a RBI out of the nine hole.

- Crosby Jones was the fourth Bulldog with a multi-hit effort, finishing 2-for-4 with a RBI. Jones also made a couple outstanding plays in the field.

- Austin Blakely allowed just one run on three hits in his 2.0 innings.
- Cameron Reeves retired all three hitters he faced, including a pair of strikeouts.
- Cole Simpson pitched a scoreless first inning, before running into some trouble in his second inning of work.
- Will Bastian did not allow a run over the final 1.1 innings.
- Jordan Carr (3-3) picked up the win after allowing two runs over seven hits and six strikeouts over 6.0 innings.
