CHARLESTON, S.C. –
The Citadel women's soccer team continues its four-game home stand as the Bulldogs play three matches at WLI Field in a six-day span.

The week gets going Tuesday afternoon with a 4 p.m. match against Georgia Southern. The Bulldogs will then host Presbyterian on Sept. 3 at 3 p.m. and Stetson on Sept. 5 at 1 p.m.

4-0 Start
The Citadel is looking for its first 4-0 start in program history. The Bulldogs are currently 3-0, matching the best start in program history set in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Saldivar Hot Start
Graduate transfer Sophie Saldivar is off to a hot start in her Bulldog career as she has tallied three goals and two assists through the first three games. Her three goals are tied for the Southern Conference lead.

Quick Strike
Leanne Bryant wasted little time in getting the Bulldogs on the board against Anderson. The grad transfer scored just 2:04 into the contest. The goal was the second-fastest in program history, trailing only the goal scored by Logan Dix just 1:35 into the game against UNCG on March 21, 2021.

Scouting Georgia Southern
The Eagles enter the contest with an overall record of 2-1-1. The contest is their third in the Lowcountry this season. GS opened the season with a 1-1 tie at the College of Charleston, and are coming off a 5-1 victory over Charleston Southern Sunday afternoon. Marcela Montoya scored a hat trick in the win over the Bucs, and has scored four goals in the last two matches.

Scouting Presbyterian
The Blue Hose enter Friday's match with an overall record of 1-3-0. The match is the third match this season against a team from the Southern Conference. PC opened the season with a 3-0 loss to Furman, and fell 1-0 on the road at ETSU on Aug. 26. Kori Lawrence and Jessica Newton have scored the only goals for the Blue Hose this season.

Scouting Stetson
Stetson enters the week with an overall record of 2-2-0. SU will take on Charleston Southern on Sept. 2 before coming to WLI Field. The Hatters defeated Mercer, 2-0, on Aug. 27 and are coming off a 2-1 victory over Alabama State on Sunday. Jackie Fiacco leads the team with a pair of goals.

Up Next
After playing four-straight matches at home, the Bulldogs hit the road for four matches, beginning with a Sept. 9 trip to UNC Asheville.
