GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Citadel women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Pirate Collegiate Classic at the Greenville Country Club on Monday.

How it Happened

• Paige Gilstrap led the Bulldogs in first round with an eight-over par 80.
• Sarah Smith was one shot behind Gilstrap with an opening-round 81.
• Smith was able to record birdies on the 9^th and 18^th holes in the opening round.
• Megan Ikeda opened the tournament with a first round 82.
• Ikeda closed out her opening nine by shooting one-under par over the final five holes.
• Smith and Ikeda had the best scores in the second round as both shot 82.
• Mirabella Calabrase was consistent through her two rounds.
• Lauren Sommerfeld made her collegiate debut and opened with an 89 in the first round.
