CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel head tennis coach
Chuck Kriese announced the Bulldogs upcoming schedule for the spring.
The Bulldogs will play eight matches during the month of January, beginning with a doubleheader at South Carolina State on Jan. 15. The Citadel heads to Columbia the following week for matches against South Carolina and Presbyterian on Jan. 21.
After a pair of matches at Georgia Tech on Jan. 23, the Bulldogs close out the month with a pair of matches against Coastal Carolina on Jan. 29.
The month of February opens with three matches on the road, starting at USC Sumter on Feb. 5, and against Tennessee Wesleyan and Vanderbilt in Nashville on Feb. 13.
The Bulldogs open the home season on Feb. 22-23 as they host Washington and Lee on Tuesday and New Orleans on Wednesday.
The Citadel opens Southern Conference action on Feb. 25 with a match at Chattanooga, before closing out the month with matches against Point University and Georgia Gwinnett on Feb. 26.
The Bulldogs spend the early part of March at home with matches against Samford (March 7), Campbell and New Jersey City (March 8), and UNCG (March 10). After six matches over three days on the road, the Bulldogs closed out the month at home against Delaware on March 31.
April sees the Bulldogs play four conference matches, as well as a trip to the College of Charleston on April 6. The Bulldogs travel to face Mercer (April 2), Wofford (April 10) and Furman (April 16), while hosting ETSU on April 7.
The SoCon Tournament will be held April 21-24 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
