CHARLESTON, S.C. – Due to weather concerns, The Citadel's track and field and tennis team will not travel to Columbia for their season openers on Friday.
 
The track and field team was scheduled to participate in the Carolina Challenge on Jan. 21-22, while the tennis team was to take on Presbyterian and South Carolina on Jan. 21. No decision has been made if the tennis matches will be rescheduled.
 
The Bulldog tennis team is scheduled to play a doubleheader at Georgia Tech on Sunday. A decision on those matches will be made over the weekend.
