CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel wrestling team picked up a pair of victories Sunday afternoon inside McAlister Field House. The Bulldogs opened the day with a 28-17 victory over LIU and followed it up with a 23-15 Southern Conference victory over Davidson.

How it Happened
- The Citadel got off to a quick start as Dazjon Casto secured a near fall in the first period to open a 6-0 lead.
- He continued to control the match into the third period where he secured a takedown and turned into a fall.
- Selwyn Porter followed with an impressive tech fall victory at 165. He capped off the win with six near fall points in the third period.
- Ben Haubert battled his way to a 6-1 victory at 184 points. He used takedowns in each of the first two periods for the win.
- Michael McAleavey used an early trip to turn it into a fall in just 2:03.
- Jake Rotunda impressed during his match as he scored eight points in the opening period and used four near-fall points in the third for the tech fall victory.
- Ethan Willis controlled his match throughout and worked his way to a 4-0 victory to close out the match.

How it Happened
- The Bulldogs got out to an early lead as Dazjon Casto and Selwyn Porter each posted majority decision victories.
- Ben Haubert picked up his second victory of the day as he fought off a takedown in the final seconds to hold on for a 3-2 victory.
- Michael McAleavey got a reversal in the third period and outlasted Mitchell Trigg, 4-3.
- Jake Rotunda secured the team victory as he started the match with a takedown and was able to ride out the entire second period on top in a 5-1 win.
