Annapolis, Md. – The Citadel women's golf team opened play at the Navy Blue and Gold Invitational on Saturday at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Course.

How it Happened
- The Bulldogs overcame some struggles on the opening nine as all five players improved their scores on the second nine.
- Paige Gilstrap led the way on the second nine with a five over par, including four-straight pars.
- Naomi Huang was able to overcome a tough start to close out her round with back-to-back pars.
- Kenzie McCallum, Maggie Parmer and Mirabella Calabrase all closed out their rounds with a par on the par-5 ninth hole.
