Women’s Golf Wraps Up Navy Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Citadel women's golf team closed out tournament play at the Navy Blue and Gold Invitational Sunday afternoon at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Course

The Bulldogs closed out the event by shooting a second round 355, a three-shot improvement from their opening round.

How it Happened

The Bulldogs improved their score by three strokes in the second round.
Paige Gilstrap again led the way with a second-round 81. Her round included a birdie on the par-4 second as part of a four-over par on the front nine.
Naomi Huang improved by two strokes in her second round, ending the day with five-straight pars.
Maggie Parmer had the shot of the day as she holed out for eagle on the par 4 10^th hole.
