Inside The Numbers
 5 - The Bulldogs game at Western Carolina marks the fifth time The Citadel will play on the road in the first seven games of the season. The schedule will flip down the stretch as the next three games will be played inside Johnson Hagood Stadium.
85 - True freshman wide receiver Christian Hilton had a career-high 85 receiving yards on three catches against Wofford. He had receptions of 33, 27 and 25 yards, all in the second half.
150 - The Bulldogs have passed for over 150 yards in each of the last two games. They threw for 169 against Furman and 156 against Wofford. It is the first time over 150 yards in back-to-back games since throwing for 196 against Samford and 233 against VMI during the 2019 season.
402 - The Citadel offense gained a season-high 402 yards against Wofford. Teh Bulldogs ran for 246 yards and threw for 156 yards. The 246 rushing yards were also a season high for the Bulldogs.

The Game
The Citadel plays its second-straight game on the road as the Bulldogs travel to face Western Carolina on Oct. 22. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. from E.J. Whitmire Stadium.

vs. Western Carolina
Saturday's game is the 47th all-time meeting between the two teams with The Citadel holding a 26-19-1 advantage in the series. Western Carolina is on a current two-game win streak.


Last Year Against Western Carolina
The Citadel ran for 177 yards and threw for 197 yards in a 45-31 setback against the Catamounts. Logan Billings rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the loss.


Offense Eclipses 400 Yards
The Citadel offense eclipsed the 400-yard mark for the first time this season as the Bulldogs had 402 yards against Wofford. The offense ran for a season-high 246 yards and added 156 yards through the air.


Wallace Breaks Off Long TD
Cooper Wallace scored his first touchdown of the season when he broke through the middle for a 56-yard touchdown run against Wofford. The run was the second longest of his career. He had a 73-yard touchdown run against Mercer in the spring of 2021 against Mercer.


Hilton Emerges
Freshman Christian Hilton has emerged as the top target at receiver. Against Wofford, Hilton finished with three catches for 85 yards. He had catches of 33, 27 and 25 yards.


Brockington Catches First TD
Tight end Ben Brockington caught his first career touchdown against Wofford when he hauled in a 29-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. The TD marked the second-straight season a converted offensive lineman caught a TD pass. Summie Carlay had a short touchdown reception against Chattanooga last season.
