CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel wrestling team opens the 2022-23 season Tuesday night as the Bulldogs welcome Queens University of Charlotte to McAlister Field House. The match is set to begin at 7:15 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
The contest marks the second-straight season the team's will open up with a dual match in McAlister Field House.

Porter's Last Ride
Selwyn Porter returned to The Citadel for one final season. He will return to wrestling at 157 pounds after competing at 165 pounds last season.
Haubert's Second Season
Ben Haubert returns for his sophomore season after battling his way onto the podium at the last year's Southern Conference Championships. Haubert wrestled most of his freshman year at 184 pounds before dropping down to 174 for the postseason. He will wrestle at 174 pounds this season.
