  • The Bulldogs play their first home game in nearly a month as The Citadel welcomes Furman to Johnson Hagood Stadium.

  • The game marks the 102nd all-time meeting between the two schools. The rivalry is the longest played one for the Bulldogs.
  • Furman leads the all-time series 61-37-2, but the Bulldogs have won two of the last three meetings.
  • This weekend is Parents' Weekend at The Citadel. The Bulldogs are 36-32 all-time on Parents' Weekend, including a 35-24 victory over VMI last season.
  • Last season, Furman used a pair of big plays to find the end zone in a 24-14 victory in Greenville. The Paladins gained 148 yards on those two scoring plays, but managed only 141 yards the rest of the game.
  • The Citadel possessed the ball for nearly 40 minutes against Appalachian State. The control of possession included holding the ball for 14:45 of the third quarter clock.
  • The Bulldogs opened the second half against App State with a 17-play drive that took 11:22 of the clock.
  • Jay Graves-Billips had another all-around game as he rushed nine times for 36 yards, while also catching a pair of passes for 42 ayrds. He caught a 36-yard pass at the end of the first half, nearly being able to break a tackle and score.
  • Freshman Johnny Crawford III saw his first action as a collegiate. He finished the game with five carries for 19 yards, including a career-long 11-yard rush.
  • Destin Mack led the defense with seven tackles, including six solo stops. He also teamed up with Dominick Poole for a tackle behind the line of scrimmage.

Inside The Numbers
 9 - Furman will be serving as the opponent for Parents' Weekend for the ninth time. The Citadel is 3-5 in the previous eight meetings, but has come away victorious in each of the last two contests.
14:45 - The Citadel offense controlled the ball for 14:45 of the third quarter against App State. The Bulldogs came out of the locker room and put together a 17-play drive that took off 11:22.
28 - The Bulldogs will be playing their first home game in 28 days. The Citadel has not played a home game since facing ETSU on Sept. 10.  
102 - Saturday's game against Furman marks the 102nd all-time meeting between the two schools. The teams first met all the way back in 1913. The Bulldogs have played the Paladins more than any other team.
69 - Saturday's game against Furman marks the 69th Parents' Weekend game. The Citadel is 36-32 in the previous 68 contests, including a 35-24 victory over VMI last season.
