THE GAME
The Citadel hits the road for the final time during the non-conference season as the Bulldogs travel to face North Carolina Central on Dec. 20. The game will tip at 7 p.m. on the NCCU Network.
ON THE RADIO
All games this season can be heard live on 102.1-FM/1450-AM in the Charleston area. The voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, will be on the call.
SCOUTING NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL
The Eagles enter the contest with an overall record of 5-7 and are coming off a 72-70 road setback at Gardner-Webb. NCCU is 5-0 at home on the season. Justin Wright leads team in scoring at 15.2 points per game. He is joined in double figures by Brendan Medley-Bacon at 10.8. Kris Monroe leads the team at 5.4 rebounds per contest.
HISTORY WITH NCCU
Tuesday's game marks the second all-time meeting between the two programs. It is the completion of a home-and-home series that began in Charleston a season ago.
LAST MEETING WITH NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL
The Citadel made eight of its first 12 three-pointers on the way to an 80-67 victory over Eagles inside McAlister Field House. Hayden Brown scored 21 of his 32 points in the first half as the Bulldogs took a 10-point lead into the locker room.
THREE-POINT BARRAGE
Graduate transfer Austin Ash put on a shooting clinic agianst Longwood as the Iowa native knocked down nine three-pointers, including six in the second half. The nine triples ties for the fourth-most in a game, and just one shy of the school record.
