COLUMBIA, S.C. – The men's and women's track and field teams will compete on Feb. 18 at the University of South Carolina Indoor Open at the Carolina Indoor Track and Field Complex in Columbia, South Carolina.

Both track and field events will start at 9:00 a.m.
The Citadel competed at the JDL Team Challenge in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on Feb. 10; the Bulldogs had multiple Top-10 finishes in both track and field events.
On the Women's Side
- Gabby Shea set her personal record in the 800m run at the JDL Team Challenge. She ran 2:25.43, finishing first and moving up to seventh all-time in the record books.
- High Jumper Mya Dollard finished third with a leap of 4-10.50.
- The 4x400m relay team of Mecca Jackson, Jay Mitchell, Leah Murray, and Gabby Shea finished second overall with a time of 4:17.35.
On the Men's Side
- Sam Sharnas has competed in two races and has two school records to start his indoor track season. At the JDL Team Challenge, he broke the school's all-time record and set a personal record in the 3000m run with the time of 8:32.69.
- Prince Howard-Whitaker and Reggie Reynolds continue to dominate as they have posted multiple Top-10 finishes in their field events.
- Prince Moody has three Top-10 finishes in his last three competitions in the high jump.
