CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams will be traveling up the road to Charleston Southern to compete in the CSU Throws and Distance Challenge on March 11.

Friday's field events will begin at 11:30 p.m., and track events will start at 6:15Â p.m.

On the Men's Side
- JP Caglione won three field events last weekend at the Savannah State Relays. He won the hammer toss with a throw of 168-3.75, the shot put with 49-1 and the discus throw with 138-9.25.
- Ian McCorkle took a second-place finish in the javelin with a toss of 151-8.5.
- High jumper Stephen Kraeling finished in second place with a leap of 6-2.75.
On the Women's Side
- Shannon Ziccarello finished in second with a throw of 110-9.25 in the javelin.
- Carisma Holland placed second in the hammer throw with 129-11.5.
- Tatiana Corso finished in third in the hammer throw with a toss of 118-7.25 and she finished in third in the discus with 110-2, which put her ninth all-time in the school's record book.Â
