CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Oyster Shuck Match Play event at the Charleston Municipal Golf Course.
 
The Bulldogs opened the day by falling 4.5-0.5 to Samford, before coming back and falling in a close match, 3.0-2.0 to Presbyterian.
 
How it Happened

• Megan Ikeda picked up a win and a tie in her two matches on Monday.
• She started the day by finishing all square against Mary Kate Horton of Samford.
• Ikeda came back in the afternoon pairing and defeated Sarah Boteler, 3&2.
• Paige Gilstrap picked up a victory in her afternoon, besting Taylor Gardner (PC), 2&1.
