Greenville, N.C. – The Citadel track and field teams posted strong performances from day one at Bill Carson Invitational.

Day One Results

Men's Results

JP Caglione took the top spot in the hammer throw with a toss of 193-6. He set a personal best with his toss beating his previous best of 189-6, and still sits at the top of the school's all-time record book.
Reggie Reynolds earned fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 145-6.
Caleb McDonald and Ian McCorkle finished in the fifth and sixth spots in the javelin with tosses of 146-2 and 145-02.
Fred Hamilton finished in eighth in the javelin with a throw of 133-1.

Women's Results

Carisma Holland finished in seventh place in the hammer throw with a toss of 143-1.25. Holland now sits at seventh all-time in the school's record book.
Ali Ruffin threw 118.00 in the javelin throw to earn a third-place finish.
Shannon Ziccarello took fifth place in the javelin with a throw of 94-08.
Tatiana Corso finished in sixth with a toss of 118-6.
