How it Happened
- The Cougars got on the board in the first inning as they loaded the bases with no outs. A walk to Joseph Mershon would be all that CofC would get.

- Cochrane delivered a RBI single through the right side in the fourth inning and Jared Kiran added a RBI double in the fifth.
- The Bulldogs got on the board in the sixth inning on a RBI single through the left side from Noah Mitchell.
- The Cougars added three more runs in the bottom of the sixth on a three-run triple from Tanner McCallister.
- The Citadel got its offense going in the seventh inning as Wells Sykes and Sawyer Reeves started the inning with back-to-back base hits. On the next pitch, Luke Montenery delivered a two-run double to the gap in left center.
- After moving to third on a wild pitch, Gray Sobel drove in Montenery with a sacrifice fly to right field.
- CofC added a run in the seventh on a sacrifice fly from Cochrane.
- The Bulldogs got going again in the eighth inning after singles from Garrett Dill and Cole Simpson put a pair of runners on. A fielder's choice retired one hitter, but a throwing error allowed a runner to score.
- After a Dylan Costa pinch-hit single, Montenery came calling again with a three-run blast to left field.
- The Citadel added a run in the ninth inning on a Costa RBI single to left field.
