Ben Hutchins had the best game of his career as the right hander struck out a career-high 10 over 7.0 innings in the Bulldogs season-ending, 2-1 loss to Mercer Friday night in the Southern Conference Tournament at Fluor Field.

How it Happened
- Mercer got on the board in the first inning on a two-run single off the bat of David Burke.
- The Bulldogs got a run back in the second inning after Wells Sykes singled to start the inning. With two outs, Garrett Dill and Dylan Costa walked to load the bases. Luke Montenery was hit by a pitch to score Sykes.

- Hutchins also fanned two in the third and seventh innings.
