CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel came alive in the second half for three goals after a scoreless halftime against crosstown foe Charleston Southern Tuesday.
Ashley Frank,
Kristi Jones, and
Jimena Risoto were the culprits for the scoring, with all coming on feeds from career assists leader
Suzuka Yosue.

How it Happened
- 53' – Ashley Frank got her first career score as a Bulldog when Suzuka Yosue flicked a ball on to her on a breakaway chance, then Frank herself flicking it over goalie Sara Curtis.
- 57' – Kristi Jones fought hard for her score, when Yosue's feed from the left put her smack in front of the goal, where her first shot deflected off Curtis and connected to the net on the rebound.
- 74' – Jimena Risoto ran right up the middle, feeding the ball to Yosue down the right wing who fed it back to the runaway Risoto for a clean shot to the back of the net.

- Goalkeeper Jess Newton made her season debut today, netting two saves in her shutout victory.
- Tuesday marked the first game for The Citadel this season at WLI Field after the first three home matches were played at Johnson Hagood Stadium due to weather. All told, the Bulldogs are 3-1 at home this year.
