Fortin Breaks 5K Record

COLUMBIA, S.C. Heidi Fortin broke the school's indoor 5,000m run record on Saturday on day 2 of the Carolina Challenge.

Women's Results
  • Heidi Fortin placed second and broke the school's indoor 5,000m record with a time of 17:38.86, previously held by Jackie Thompson with a time of 18:19.84, set in February 2015.
 
Men's Results
  • Prince Moody tied for first place in the high jump with a leap of 6-2.75.
  • Brent Forrest placed third in the pole vault by clearing 13-11.25
  • Stephen Kraeling took fifth in the men's invitation high jump by clearing 6-4.75.
  • Jack Mulvey finished ninth place, cleared 5-8.75 in the high jump.
  • Tucker Young took the tenth spot in the pole vault with 12-9.75.
