EDISTO ISLAND, S.C. – The Citadel women's golf team wrapped up a full two-day competition at the Edisto Island Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, finishing 16th as a team at the Plantation Course at Edisto. College of Charleston, the host, prevailed at plus-six, topping Georgia Southern (+10), East Carolina (+22), Rollins College (+23) and Elon (+31). The Bulldogs concluded the event with a plus-134 overall.

Paige Gilstrap paced The Citadel with a final plus-23 over three rounds, tying for 73rd on the individual leaderboard. Megan Ikeda and Lillian Alexander tied for 90th with plus-36 while Sophia Vargas (+43) and Maggie Parner (+45) rounded out the Bulldogs at 92nd and 93rd, respectively.

The Bulldogs close out their fall golf schedule with the Terrier Intercollegiate, a two-day event hosted by Wofford set for Monday, Oct. 23 through Tuesday, Oct. 24.
