Bulldogs Set for Showdown With VMI

GAME NOTES

THE GAME
The Citadel returns to Southern Conference action as it welcomes VMi to McAlister Field House on Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. on ESPN+

ON THE RADIO
All games this season can be heard live on 102.1-FM/1450-AM in the Charleston area. The voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, will be on the call.

SCOUTING VMI
VMI enters the game with an overall record of 5-18 and an 0-10 mark in conference play. Sean Conway leads four players in double figures at 13.9 points per game. He is followed closely by Asher Woods at 13.7 points per contest.

HISTORY WITH VMI
Thursday's game marks the 117th all-time meeting between the two military schools, with the Bulldogs holding a 60-56 advantage in the all-time series. The Citadel has won each of the last two meetings, both coming in Lexington.

LAST MEETING WITH KEYDETS
The Citadel overcame a tough-shooting first half to erase a nine-point halftime deficit in a 60-52 victory over the Keydets on Jan. 21. Austin Ash led the way with 17 points, while Stephen Clark added 15 points and nine rebounds. David Maynard was also in double figures with 13 points.

The Bulldogs close out the busy week at home as they welcome UNCG to McAlister Field House on Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
