LEXINGTON, VA. – The Bulldogs posted multiple second-place finishes on Sunday afternoon on day two of the 2023 Southern Conference Indoor Championships.

The women finished with 49.33 to finish sixth, which is the most in school history.
The men finished sixth with 41.33 points overall.
On the Women's Side
- Tatiana Corso secured her second silver medal after placing second in the weight throw with a toss of 47-7.
- Mecca Jackson placed second in both the 60m and 200m. Jackson ran a time of 7.63 to set a new school record and 24.71 in the 200m, beating her previous record time that she set yesterday.
- Blythe Hehmeyer finished second to earn all-conference accolades in the pole vault after clearing her school record of 11-07.75.
- Zeniyah Lawrence placed fifth in the 60m finals with a time of 7.72 and eighth in the 200m with a time of 26.19.
- Heidi Fortin broke her school record in the 5k with 17:36.25.
- The 4x400 of Mecca Jackson, Zeniyah Lawrence, Leah Murray, and Gabby Shea took seventh with 4:08.30.
On the Men's Side
Jack Mulvey and
Tate Sistare earned All-Freshman accolades in the triple jump and the high jump.
