GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams complete day one at the Bill Carson Invitational on Friday afternoon.

The Bulldogs will compete on day two of the Bill Carson Invitational, with Saturday's field events starting at 9:00 a.m. with the women's hammer throw and the track events beginning with the women's 5,000m run at 8:00 a.m.
Day One Results
- The Citadel claimed the two through five spots in the men's javelin event.
- Ian McCorkle finished in second with a toss of 168-01 in the javelin.
- Caleb McDonald earned the third spot in the javelin with a throw of 155-11.
- Briggs Rehome and Fred Hamilton finished back-to-back in the javelin. Rehome placed fourth with a toss of 155-09, and Hamilton placed fifth with a toss of 152-00.
- Solomon Ghosh placed fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 159-01.
