CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel athletics department announced a new five-year deal with Under Armour to have them be the official apparel provider of Bulldog Athletics. UA will officially take over as the apparel provider on July 1.
 
"We are very excited about this opportunity to have Under Armour as our apparel provider," said Director of Athletics Mike Capaccio. "Throughout this process, the folks at UA showed their commitment to our department and our brand, and that was a driving force in this decision."
 
The agreement was brokered with assistance from LEONA, industry experts that guide athletic departments in exploring deals for multimedia, media and apparel rights.
