MANHEIM, Pa. – The Citadel graduate student Blair Orr was named a Scholar All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). Orr is a graduate student working towards his master's in business administration.
 
The NWCA Executive Director, Mike Moyer, praised the recipients for their dedication to both their athletic and academic pursuits, saying, "Wrestling takes much focus and sacrifice, and we are proud to honor these wrestlers' obvious commitment to their academic pursuits!"
 
Orr closed out the 2022-23 season with 17 victories, including going 9-3 in dual matches. He opened the season with a second period fall in the victory over Queens, before reaching the final at The Citadel Open with four-straight victories.
 
He picked up four victories in Southern Conference action, before avenging a loss earlier in the season with a 5-2 victory over Anthony Molton of Campbell on his way to a fourth-place finish at the conference championship meet.
