MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Citadel dropped its final midweek game of the season, falling 15-4 to the College of Charleston Tuesday evening at Patriots Point.

How it Happened
- The Bulldogs got on the board in the second inning as Wells Sykes followed a Crosby Jones base hit with a RBI triple off the top of the wall in left field.
- The Cougars answered in the bottom of the inning with three innings, including a two-run triple to left from Tyler Sorrentino.
- CofC added two more runs in the third on a RBI triple from Kyree Miller and a single from Sorrentino.
- The Citadel was able to push two more runs across in the fourth inning after Anthony Badala blooped a RBI single to right field, and Thomas Rollauer later drew a walk with the bases loaded.
- The Cougars extended their lead in the bottom of the inning with a three-run homer from Trotter Harlan, before pushing across eight runs in the sixth inning.
- The Bulldogs scored the final run of the game in the seventh as Clay Wilson hit the first pitch he saw for a pinch-hit solo home run.
