LAST WEEK:

• The Bulldogs tied UNC Asheville last Thursday, 0-0, in a lightning-shortened match.
• The Citadel scored four minutes in on Sunday at USC Upstate before finding themselves trailing 2-1 after a Spartans goal in the 80^th minute.
• Some nice passing from Elisa Fuentes and Grace Duncan set up Danielle Etienne for her first goal as a Bulldog in the 86^th to earn a 2-2 draw.

BUCCANEERS BREAKDOWN:

• CSU enters the match with a 4-1-2 mark after defeating SC State 3-0 and drawing with Wofford (1-1) last week.
• The Buccaneers rank second in the Big South in scoring average at 2.43 goals per game. They have recorded at least two goals in 5-of-7 matches this season.
• The offensive attack is led by Fiama Hidalgo who paces CSU with three goals.
• The CSU defense can't be overlooked either as it also ranks second in their league in GA Avg at 0.86 to go along with three shutouts so far.
• The goalkeeping situation is a platoon early on as Jenna Moran has four starts while Sara Curtis received the other three. The latter is 3-0 with three clean sheets.

BULLDOGS BIO

• The Citadel defense is no slouch in its' own right as they have also allowed just 0.86 goals per game this season.
• Nora Sampson has started all seven matches for the Bulldogs and is fourth in the SoCon in save percentage with a .829 mark.
• Ariana Paez leads the offensive with eight points (2g, 4a) while Grace Duncan is coming off a three-point match (1g, 1a) at USC Upstate.
