SCOUTING THE GATORS
- Florida enters off a 14-14 mark from a season ago that saw the team fall in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to Oklahoma State as they sit at #23 in the latest ITA Division I rankings.
- The Gators took part in the Fighting Illini Invite last weekend, winning 3-of-3 doubles matches.
- The squad is highlighted by Tanapatt Nirundorn who enters the season as the 69th ranked singles player by the ITA.
SCOUTING THE HATTERS
- Stetson comes in after a 14-10 mark a year ago and a quarterfinal exit in the ASUN tournament.
- The Hatters begin its' spring slate on Saturday versus Florida Atlantic before taking on The Citadel on Sunday.
LAST WEEK
- Bulldogs opened with a pair of tough tasks in Clemson and Charlotte.
- Hayden Shoemake and Sebastian Kamieniecki will look to build off the momentum of their 6-2 top doubles flight win over the 49ers duo.
- Although they lost both matches 0-7, The Citadel won 13 more games in singles play on Sunday, a stat they will try to improve on to get some points on the board this weekend.
