CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams are set to begin their 2024 indoor track and field schedule at the two-day Carolina Challenge in Columbia, S.C.

Friday field events will begin with the men's and women's weight throw at 10:00 a.m. The track events will start with the men's 5K at 10:00 a.m.
Saturday's field events begin with the men's and women's high jump at 11:00 a.m., followed by the track events that start at 1:00 with the men's mile.

On the Men's Side

• The Bulldogs are bringing back Kane Duncan, Solomon Ghosh, Stephen Kraeling, Prince Moody, and Treonte Newton, all of whom played significant roles during the 2023 indoor season.
• Duncan was a member of the distance medley team who earned bronze in the 2023 Southern Conference Indoor Championships.
• Kraeling placed third in the high jump finals of the 2023 Southern Conference Indoor Championships with a leap of 6-06.75.

On the Women's Side

• The Bulldogs return Zeniyah Lawrence, Mecca Jackson, Leah Murray, and Cyla Byrd for the 204 indoor season, who all contributed to multiple school and person records during the 2023 indoor season.
• The Citadel welcomes three new graduate students to track and field teams with Karmen Williams, Maret Elgren, and Emily Danielsson.
• Jackson finished with two second-place finishes in the 2023 Southern Conference Indoor Championship.
