CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel head baseball coach, Russell Triplett, announces the upcoming 2025 baseball schedule. The Bulldogs will have 34 home contests at Joseph P. Riley Park. The schedule features two away games at Clemson, a home game, and an away game with
South Carolina.

The Bulldogs will face four NCAA tournament teams from the 2024 season: South Carolina, Clemson, Western Michigan, and Wofford.

The Citadel Baseball team's 2025 season kicks off in February with a home opener against UIC on Friday, February 14. This is followed by games against Miami (Ohio) on February 15 and 16 and a final game against UIC on February 17. The team will host Maine for a three-game weekend series from February 21 to 23 and Presbyterian on February 25. Closing out the month, the Bulldogs will face Yale in another home series from February 28 to March 2.

March brings several matchups, beginning with South Carolina at home on March 5. The Citadel will welcome Northwestern for a four-game series from March 7 to 9. The Bulldogs have a quick road trip to Presbyterian on March 11, then return home to play Charleston Southern on March 12. A series against Kennesaw State follows from March 14 to 16 before the Bulldogs head to Clemson for back-to-back road games on March 18 and 19. They return home to host Mercer from March 21 to 23, face the College of Charleston on March 25, and wrap up the month with a series against Wofford from March 28 to 30.

In April, the Bulldogs begin with a road game at Winthrop on April 2, followed by a four-game away series at Western Michigan from April 4 to 6. Another road series awaits them at Samford from April 11 to 13. After a single away game at South Carolina on April 15, the team will return home to play Charleston Southern on April 22 and face VMI in a three-game series from April 25 to 27.

May is the final month of the regular season. It opens with an away series against UNCG from May 2 to 4. The team will travel to the College of Charleston on May 6 and host Winthrop on May 7. They will then head to Western Carolina for a weekend series from May 9 to 11, followed by an away game at Charleston Southern on May 13. The Bulldogs' last home series will be against ETSU from May 15 to 17.

The season wraps up with the Southern Conference Tournament from May 21 to May 25.
