How it Happened
- The Bulldogs jumped to an early 1-0 lead with a Travis Lott single doing the right field line.
- Anthony Hausner singled up the middle, scoring Thomas Rollauer.
- Javier Crespo followed up Hausner with a single through the left side, bringing two home for The Citadel.
- An RBI single from Wells Sykes scored Phillips Daniels, giving the Bulldogs the 5-0 lead in the first inning.
