Saturday’s Game Goes Against the Bulldogs

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel suffered a heavy defeat against St. Bonaventure, losing 22-10 on a cold afternoon at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

How It Happened
  • The Bulldogs got on the board first to start the game with an Anthony Hausner double to right center that scored Rollauer.
  • Phillips Daniels knocked in the next run for the Bulldogs with a single to score Lott, but Hausner was thrown out at the plate.
  • St. Bonaventure recorded their first run of the game with a single up the middle to score one.
  • Thomas Rollauer put The Citadel up to a 4-1 lead with a base knock that scored two.
  • The Bonnies put up a sixth spot at the top of the third inning to take their first lead of the game at 7-4.
  • Javier Crespo got the Bulldogs on the board in the bottom of the third quarter with an infield single that scored one to make it 7-5.
  • The Bonnies would answer with a sac-fly RBI to make it 8-5.
