LEXINGTON, VA. - The Citadel's men's and women's track and field teams had seven all-conference performances, one school record, two freshman records, and 12 top-ten performances in school history during the 2024 Southern Conference Track and Field Indoor Championships.

The men scored 49 points, while the women scored 30.3 points.

Jordan Chestnut,
Bradlee Jones,
Dylan Thompson, and
Jack Weil were all selected to the All-Freshman Team.

On the Men's Side
- Jordan Chestnut jumped a PR of 48-4 to earn all-conference, taking 3rd and breaking the school and freshman records.
- The school record was Hillary Douglas 48-2.5 from 1982, and the freshman record was Prince Collins with 47-9.25 from 1980.
- Chestnut also had a PR in the high jump with 6-4.75 to take 5th and earn the tenth spot all time.
- Stephen Kraeling and Prince Moody tied second in the high jump with 6-6.75 to earn all-conference accolades.
- This was a PR for Moody and earned him the sixth spot all time.
- Bradlee Jones finished second in the 60 with 6.81 to earn all-conference accolades.
- Demetrius Shine had a PR in the 60 and finished 7th with 6.98 to earn the tenth spot.
- Dylan Thompson ran a PR in the 200 with 22.37 to take 5th and tied the freshman record set by Devin Singleton in 2015.
- The 4x400 of Charles Campbell, Kane Duncan, Bryce Baglia, and Treonte Newton ran 3:23.87 to take 4th.
- Jack Weil had a PR in the weight to make the finals but finished ninth with 44-3.5.

On the Women's Side
- Emily Danielsson had a PR in the weight throw with a toss of 54-4.75 to take 2nd, earned all-conference accolades, and earned the fourth spot all time.
- Karmen Williams was third and earned all-conference with a toss of 52-6.
- Cyla Byrd was fifth in the 60, tying her PR of 7.70, the 3rd fastest time in school history. She was also seventh in the 200 with 25.57.
- Emily Hickey was eighth in the vault with 10-6.75.
- Maret Elgren ran a PR in the 5k with 18:26.51 to earn the third spot all time.
- The 4x400 of Cyla Byrd, Gabby Shea, Danielle Williams, and Brianna Arguello ran 4:09.31 to take seventh.
- Â Jada Pate made the finals in the triple but was ninth with 33-10.75.Â
