CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel used a season-high eight pitchers in a 3-2 midweek victory over Presbyterian on Tuesday afternoon inside Joe Riley Park.

How It Happened

Presbyterian scored the game's first run at the top of the first inning when the Blue Hose attempted a double steal, where the runner at first went back to first and the runner at third scored.
Jackson Hugus doubled to left field for Presbyterian, scoring one to make it 2-0.
The Citadel got on the board in the fourth inning with an Anthony Hausner single through the right side, where Javier Crespo advanced to third and scored on a throwing error by Presbyterian.
Travis Elliott tied the game at 2-2 with an RBI single, scoring Hausner.
The Citadel scored the game's final run for both teams in the fifth inning with a Travis Lott sac-fly RBI, scoring Thomas Rollauer to make it 3-2.
