Midweek Baseball
The Citadel and Winthrop will meet the first of two meetings between both teams at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. The first pitch is set for 5 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The Eagles are 11-14-1 overall and 4-2 in the Big South. Most recently, the Eagles went 0-2-1 against St. Johns and tied the second game of their doubleheader 6-6.

Jaylen Hernandez is amongst the team leaders in batting average with .315 in the 22 games he has started. Nicholas Badillo leads the team with six home runs and 21 home runs.

The teams will meet for the 60th time, with Winthrop leading the series 31-28. The Eagles won the series during the 2023 season, 4-3 and 8-4.

The Citadel is 3-0 on the season against Big South Teams, with wins against Charleston Southern. The Citadel will play Winthrop in Rock Hill on April 10 for a midweek game and Presbyterian on May 10-12. The series finale will be played at Joe Riley Park, and the Bulldogs will head to Ladson to face Charleston Southern on May 14.
