CHARLESTON, SC. - The Citadel men's tennis team won the doubles point but dropped a barnburner to the undefeated SoCon regular season champion, East Tennessee State University Bucs, 3-4 on Wednesday afternoon.
This marks the third conference match of the season the Bulldogs have lost by just one point.

- Hayden Shoemake / Sebastian Kamieniecki won 6-4 in the top flight before Teo Cariov / Ted Bagwell won by an identical score at 2-doubles to secure the point.
- The Citadel lost the top two singles flights in straight sets.
- Cariov and Noah Van Dyke used three sets to win at 3 & 4 singles respectively, with the latter coming back from an opening set defeat to prevail.
