COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Citadel's men's and women's track and field teams posted six top-ten performances in school history and one freshman record at the USC Outdoor Open.
 
On the Men's Side

• Solomon Ghosh was fourth in the discus with 170-1.
• Arthur Parham was third in the javelin with a PR of 184-1 and earned the eighth all-time spot.
• Jordan Chestnut was tenth in the triple with a PR of 45-7.25 to earn the ninth all-time spot.
• Briggs Rehome was 6th in the javelin with 166-10.
• Caleb McDonald was 8th in the javelin with 163-11.
• Jack Scott had a PR in the pole vault with 14-8 to earn the seventh all-time spot.
• Treonte Newton ran a PR of 21.71 to earn the ninth all-time spot.
• The 4x100 of Dylan Thompson, Kaleb Brown, Jordan Chestnut, and Bradlee Jones ran 41.89 to break the freshman record.

On the Women's Side

• The 4x100 team of Cyla Byrd, Mecca Jackson, Zeniyah Lawrence, and Leah Murray ran 47.43 to earn the second spot all-time and finish eighth.
• Karmen Williams threw a PR in the shot with 39-9.25 to earn the eighth spot all time and finished fourth and was 8th in the hammer with 161-4. 
• Ali Ruffin was fourth in the javelin with 128-0.
• Sadie Grove had a PR of 120-2 in the javelin and finished eighth
