CHARLESTON, S.C. -  The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Gamecock Invitational on Saturday.
On the Women's Side

• Karmen Williams placed third in the shot put with 11.75, third in the javelin with 36.44, third in the hammer throw with 47.97, and sixth in the discus with 34.12.
• Emily Danielsson threw a PR 45.45 in the hammer to take fourth and earn the eighth spot all time. She was also ninth in the discus with a PR of 31.18 and 9th in the shot with a PR of 10.05.
• Blythe Hehmeyer was fourth in the pole vault with 11-5.75.  
• Emily Hickey was seventh in the pole vault with 10-6.
• Sadie Grove was sixth in the javelin with 35.34.
• The 4x100 of Cyla Byrd, Mecca Jackson, Leah Murray, and Zeniyah Lawrence was seventh with 48.77 to earn the tenth spot.
• Jada Pate had a PR in the 100HH with 16.91 to earn the eighth all-time spot.
• Yanna Cuesta was eighth in the shot with 10.16.

 
On the Men's Side

• Owen Sharnas was second in the 5k with 16:01.80.

• Solomon Ghosh was third in the discus with 50.96.  He was also second in the hammer with 47.18.  
• Jack Scott was fourth in the pole vault with 14-1.25.
• Stephen Kraeling was sixth in the high jump with 6-3.25.
• Prince Moody was seventh in the high jump with 6-3.25.
• McConnell Burdette was tenth with a PR jump of 5-11.25 in the high jump.
• Jordan Chestnut was fourth in the triple jump with a PR of 44-8.
• The 4x100 of Dylan Thompson, Treonte Newton, Mac Struck, and Demetrius Shine ran 41.89 to take seventh overall.
• The 4x400 of Treonte Newton, Kane Duncan, Charles Campbell, and Jeremiah Shaw ran 3:23.05 to take sixth.
