Dominant Pitching Performance Leads Bulldogs to Take Series Against Presbyterian

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel pitching staff pitched eight scoreless innings on Sunday afternoon, and the Bulldogs won the series against Presbyterian 3-1.

How It Happened
  • Aryan Patel scored the Bulldogs' first run with an RBI infield single to third, scoring Wells Sykes.
  • Travis Elliott extended the Bulldogs lead to 3-0 with an RBI single to the left-field corner that scored Sykes and Travis Lott.
  • Presbyterian scored on a throwing error committed by The Citadel in the ninth to make it 3-1.

  • The Citadel scored three runs on nine hits.
  • Three Bulldogs had a multi-hit day from Travis Elliott, Thomas Rollauer, and Anthony Hausner.
