SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Citadel's
Luke Kissenberth was named to the All-Southern Conference Second Team by the Southern Conference Sports Media Association, and
Garrett Fulmer was named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman team, as announced by the conference office.
Luke Kissenberth was named to the All-SoCon Second Team by the Southern Conference Sports Media Association. This marks the first time in his career that Kissenberth was honored by the SoCon.
Kissenberth joins
Cameron Reeves as the last pitcher to be honored by the SoCon Sports Media Association. Reeves was honored during the 2023 season.
The native of Simpsonville, South Carolina, posted a 5.62 ERA overall and a 2.79 ERA in SoCon play. He appeared in 11 games and pitched 19.1 innings with 21 strikeouts, holding opponents to a .176 average in SoCon play. He sits second on the team with 48 strikeouts on the season.
Garrett Fulmer was named to the SoCon All-Freshman team after recording a .260 batting average, three home runs, and 14 RBIs.
Fulmer joins
Will Holmes as the last Bulldog to be named to the all-freshman team.
