HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Kenneth Ledford at Southside Christian High School…struck out 17 over nine innings during a shortened senior season…tossed a five-inning no-hitter in final prep outing…also hit .416 at the plate…earned second-team all-region honors as a junior…played wide receiver on the football team, helping the Sabres to three region championships…member of the National Honor Society
