GREENVILLE, S.C. – Travis Lott and Anthony Hausner each hit a home run as the Bulldogs lost 8-3 to Wofford in game one of the 2024 Southern Conference Baseball Championships.

How It Happened

Wofford scored the game's first run from a Brice Martinez RBI groundout in the bottom of the third.
David Wiley added three more runs in the third with a bases-clearing double from David Riley to make it 4-0.
Wofford added a run in the bottom of the sixth to extend their lead to 5-0.
Travis Lott hit a solo home run to right field to get the Bulldogs on the board in the top of the seventh.
Wofford scored two in the seventh with an RBI double from Dixon Black and an RBI ground out from Daniel Jackson.
Sawyer Reeves drove in Thomas Rollauer in the top of the eighth with an RBI ground out to short.
Marshall Toole gave the Terriers their eighth run with an RBI sac bunt in the eighth inning.
Anthony Hausner hit a solo home run to center field, hitting off the batters-eye to make it 8-3.
