GREENVILLE, S.C. – Travis Lott and Anthony Hausner each hit a home run as the Bulldogs lost 8-3 to Wofford in game one of the 2024 Southern Conference Baseball Championships.

How It Happened

• Wofford scored the game's first run from a Brice Martinez RBI groundout in the bottom of the third.
• David Wiley added three more runs in the third with a bases-clearing double from David Riley to make it 4-0.
• Wofford added a run in the bottom of the sixth to extend their lead to 5-0.
• Travis Lott hit a solo home run to right field to get the Bulldogs on the board in the top of the seventh.
• Wofford scored two in the seventh with an RBI double from Dixon Black and an RBI ground out from Daniel Jackson.
• Sawyer Reeves drove in Thomas Rollauer in the top of the eighth with an RBI ground out to short.
• Marshall Toole gave the Terriers their eighth run with an RBI sac bunt in the eighth inning.
• Anthony Hausner hit a solo home run to center field, hitting off the batters-eye to make it 8-3.
