LAST TIME OUT at ETSU (01.13.25)
  • Christian Moore shrunk the ETSU lead to four, 14-10, eight minutes into the contest but the Bucs responded with a 6-0 spurt to force a Bulldogs timeout.
  • ETSU pushed the differential to 11, 26-15, at the 4:18 mark before a Fox layup on the ensuing trip down the court got it back to a single-digit affair.
  • The Bucs ballooned the margin to 15, 34-19, with two minutes to go as Moore's second three ball of the half made it a 36-22 ETSU edge at the intermission.
  • An ETSU tip-in extended the lead to 21 at the under-16 media timeout.
  • The Citadel held ETSU scoreless for over three minutes to knock the deficit down to 60-38 after a 6-0 spurt.
  • Besides an ETSU dunk with :03 seconds left; The Citadel held the Bucs scoreless for almost the final five minutes to fall 70-52.

SCHEDULING CHALLENGES
  • The Bulldogs have played all three Preseason Top 3 teams in their first four SoCon contests.
  • Two of those three teams, Samford and ETSU are currently 1-2 in the standings entering this week.
MOORE PLEASE
  • Christian Moore has seen his two highest minute totals of the season in the past two games, 20 and 19 minutes respectively.
  • Moore's increased role has helped the offense as he is averaging 5.3 ppg, 50% FG, and 57.1 FG% over the last three games while averaging 16.9 mpg.
IF THIS, THEN THAT...
  • If The Citadel beats UNCG it would snap a five-game skid against the Spartans.
  • If the Bulldogs lose, it would be their 10th straight loss in Greensboro.
